Growing with Grief

An online event of gentle movement, tools to self soothe, and to be held in community.

This is a space to support both our personal and collective experiences of grief. Whether you're moving through a recent loss, grieving something from the past, or need a reminder to take care of yourself, you are welcome here. This is a gift for you to seek out the softness and be in the now of your experience.

How the evening will look:
- Yin inspired postures + gentle movement
- Grounding breath work
- Guided meditation
- Reflective writing

These practices are here to support you through your process. We’ll go through the body to bring the mind to ease, allowing emotion and feelings to express however they want to. Through guided meditation and simple breathing techniques I will help you locate the pockets of support that are always present within you. After closing with a short journaling practice there will be space to share and connect if you would like to. Though, this is not a space where you have to tell your story or engage with the group at all.

Oftentimes just being together with others who are on a similar path is enough to feel held.

I’d like to remind you that I am not a therapist or psychologist, but I am drawing from my own experience of grief and sharing techniques that have helped me process and feel the intensities of it all.

I warmly encourage you to join me from the comfort of your home, on Thursday 4th of December, 7:00-8:30pm (UK time) and find solace in the company of others who understand.

Please reach out at charloganyoga@gmail.com if you have any questions.
